[Unreleased]

Added

  • Added startup onboarding for existing local repositories that have no remote configured.
  • Added provider selection to connect a local repository to an existing GitHub or Gitea remote repository.
  • Added optional post-connection push to set upstream tracking after configuring origin.
  • Added Gitea create-or-connect-and-sync actions for directories both with and without an existing local Git repository.
  • Added history-aware synchronization with fast-forward, merge, replace-local-with-backup, and force-push-with-lease behavior.
  • Added a conditional action for disconnecting local remote configuration.

Fixed

  • Fixed existing Gitea remote setup so owner/name connections can use the machine's configured SSH key instead of always forcing HTTPS authentication.
  • Fixed synchronization of unborn repositories, which previously attempted to push a nonexistent main ref.

[0.2.0] - 2026-02-15

Added

  • Added non-repository startup flow that offers repository initialization.
  • Added provider selection in non-repository publish flow: GitHub or Gitea.
  • Added Gitea repository creation over HTTPS API with configurable base URL, owner, and token defaults.
  • Added root README.md for repository front-page usage, including install and bootstrap instructions.

[0.1.1] - 2026-02-14

Added

  • Added assets/logo-avatar.svg as the primary avatar logo for git-tui.
  • Added assets/logo-avatar.png for direct avatar upload compatibility.
  • Added doc/branding.md and linked it from the documentation index.

[0.1.0] - 2026-02-14

Added

  • Added a single-file git-tui curses application for common Git flows: stage all, stage selected files, unstage selected files, commit, push, pull, fetch, and status.
  • Added doc/ documentation index and component documentation for architecture and usage.
