# ChangeDetection.io
|

ChangeDetection.io monitors web pages and sends notifications when their content changes.
|
|
|
|
## Deployment layout
|
|
|
|
- **Compose:** `/srv/docker/changedetection/docker-compose.yml`
|
|
- **Static configuration/source:** no additional mounted static configuration
|
|
- **Non-secret environment:** none
|
|
- **Secrets:** no separately mounted secret file; authentication and application-generated secret material are
|
|
stored inside the protected datastore
|
|
- **NVMe application state:** `/srv/appdata/changedetection/datastore`
|
|
- **Bulk HDD data:** none
|
|
- **Other mounts:** none
|
|
|
|
Secrets are never committed to this repository. ChangeDetection.io stores
|
|
settings, authentication material, notification configuration, watch state,
|
|
history, and internal recovery data inside its protected datastore; the complete
|
|
directory and its backups must be treated as sensitive.
|
|
|
|
## Dependencies and recovery
|
|
|
|
- **Networks/dependencies:** ChangeDetection.io uses the external `npm_proxy` network at `192.168.96.15`;
|
|
monitored websites and configured notification targets are external application-level dependencies
|
|
- **Back up:** `/srv/appdata/changedetection/datastore` as one sensitive, application-consistent unit
|
|
- **Re-creatable:** the ChangeDetection.io container image; internal cache, temporary files, and generated
|
|
recovery copies are not mounted separately and must not be selectively removed without application-specific
|
|
verification
|
