ChangeDetection.io

ChangeDetection.io monitors web pages and sends notifications when their content changes.

Deployment layout

• Compose: /srv/docker/changedetection/docker-compose.yml
• Static configuration/source: no additional mounted static configuration
• Non-secret environment: none
• Secrets: no separately mounted secret file; authentication and application-generated secret material are stored inside the protected datastore
• NVMe application state: /srv/appdata/changedetection/datastore
• Bulk HDD data: none
• Other mounts: none

Secrets are never committed to this repository. ChangeDetection.io stores settings, authentication material, notification configuration, watch state, history, and internal recovery data inside its protected datastore; the complete directory and its backups must be treated as sensitive.

Dependencies and recovery

• Networks/dependencies: ChangeDetection.io uses the external npm_proxy network at 192.168.96.15; monitored websites and configured notification targets are external application-level dependencies
• Back up: /srv/appdata/changedetection/datastore as one sensitive, application-consistent unit
• Re-creatable: the ChangeDetection.io container image; internal cache, temporary files, and generated recovery copies are not mounted separately and must not be selectively removed without application-specific verification
