# Komga

Komga provides a self-hosted server and reader for comic, manga, and ebook libraries.

## Deployment layout

- **Compose:** `/srv/docker/komga/docker-compose.yml`
- **Static configuration/source:** no additional mounted static configuration
- **Non-secret environment:** none
- **Secrets:** no separately mounted secret file; user accounts and sensitive application settings are stored inside
protected application state
- **NVMe application state:** `/srv/appdata/komga/config` and `/srv/appdata/komga/tmp`
- **Bulk HDD data:** `/data/Data1/comics`, mounted read-write so Komga administrators can delete library files
- **Other mounts:** `/etc/timezone`, mounted read-only

Secrets are never committed to this repository. Komga stores its database,
users, indexes, and sensitive application configuration inside
`/srv/appdata/komga/config`; the complete directory and its backups must be
treated as sensitive.

## Dependencies and recovery

- **Networks/dependencies:** Komga uses the external `npm_proxy` network at `192.168.97.17` and consumes the shared `/data/Data1/comics` library that Kapowarr can manage
- **Back up:** `/srv/appdata/komga/config` and the shared `/data/Data1/comics` library
- **Re-creatable:** the Komga container image and `/srv/appdata/komga/tmp`
