+## Deployment layout
+
+- **Compose:** `/srv/docker/changedetection/docker-compose.yml`

+- **Secrets:** no separately mounted secret file; authentication and application-generated secret material are
+stored inside the protected datastore

+Secrets are never committed to this repository. ChangeDetection.io stores
+settings, authentication material, notification configuration, watch state,
